The website of the Joods Historisch Museum contains with “Vierhonderd jaar joden in Nederland” an overview of the Jewish history in our country with also lemma's on the histries of the Jewish communities in different places in Drenthe and elsewhere in The Netherlands.

Also the Jewish Virtual Library contains extensive information on the Jewish history in general and in The Netherlands more in particular.

The Holocaust and afterwards
Here is shown how since the occupation by the Nazi's the anguishing developments towards the deportations became ever more threatening and eventualle resulted in the inescapable and destructive deportations, in which the Holocaust drama occurred.
